How does a microdermabrasion treatment work ? *There is a pump and connecting tube with hand piece, attached to a vacuum. Using a diamond tip, the skin is resurfaced and top layer of dead skin is removed.
What is to be expected ? *Your skin is cleaned and prepped (thoroughly dried) before a microdermabrasion treatment. Expect a slight pulling sensation as treatment is happening. As a finishing product, an occlusive serum is applied to calm the skin, as well as recommended aftercare. You may notice mild pinkness for an hour or so. The appearance of smoother skin is visible the very next day.
